2. Qualitative composition 

• Bottle 1 (50 ml) :
  • Reactive oxygen
  • Almond oil
  • Olive oil
  • Eucalyptus oil
• Bottle 2 (30 ml) :
  • Reactive oxygen
  • Grapeseed oil
  • Sesame oil
  • Nutmeg oil

3. Therapeutic indications

ESCAROFIX is indicated for the treatment of:

• Bedsores
• Surgical wounds
• Chronic wounds

4. Dosage and method of application

• Dosage : 
  • Once (01) times per day for stage 1 and stage 2 pressure sores until healing.
  • Twice (02) times per day at 12 hour intervals for stage 3 and stage 4 pressure sores until healing.
• Mode of application :
  • Clean the injured area thoroughly.
  • Extract 1 dose from bottle using the pipette, then apply evenly to the injured area.
  • Wait 10 minutes.
  • Place a paraffin-impregnated greasy tulle on the injured area.
  • Extract a dose from bottle 2 using the pipette, then place evenly on the tulle gras.
  • Cover the wound with a sterile compress.

5. Contraindications

• Known allergy to any of the components (natural oils or reactive oxygen).

6. Warnings and precautions for use

• External use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not apply to open, uncleaned wounds.

7. Interactions

• No known interactions with other parapharmaceutical products or medications.

8. Side effects

• Mild skin reactions such as irritation or redness may occur in case of sensitivity to the components.

9. Pharmacological properties

• Mode of action :
  • The reactive oxygen contained in ESCAROFIX oxidizes the lipid envelopes of pathogens, destroying them by cell lysis.
  • Vegetable oils prolong the action of reactive oxygen while providing nourishing and restorative benefits for damaged skin.
• Properties of oils :
  • Almond oil, olive oil and eucalyptus oil (Bottle 1): nourish, soothe and regenerate the skin.
  • Grapeseed oil, sesame oil and nutmeg oil (Bottle 2): improve healing and provide anti-inflammatory properties.

10. Storage instructions

• Store ESCAROFIX in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
• Keep out of reach of children.
